Building RESTful, service-oriented architectures with Twisted
Bryn did a BSc in English at UCT before joining a bunch of Cape Town upstarty companies. He's spent the last three^W FOUR years at Nimbula building a "Cloud Operating System". He spends most days building resilient, scalable systems in Python (with Twisted) and most nights in meetings. In his little spare time he's given up trying to learn Haskell, and now brews beer instead.
General overview of building service-oriented systems using REST and Twisted. Motivations for doing so, design considerations, issues encountered, possible mitigations. Will try and pull it back to Twisted as far as possible.
